For those of you with FireWire Woes

Just checked this out with a 4.5 metre addition making 9.5 metres in all and working reliably, fantastic!

I use this cable too. It has solved a lot of problems.

With a 2 cable system (too prevent damage to FW port on back) even if it was short length, the Flex connection often dropped out. Now with this cable I guess it must provide a little more juice down the cable. So sometimes (still only sometimes) i can have back connected to MacPro all day without any errors!!??
I mean almost like these backs were designed to work this way??
