Seems Phocus will only see files that are imported from camera to iPad, and not files that are copied from card to Files?

Have even tried copying files directly into the Images folder where the sample files are but the copied files don't show up in Phocus app while the sample files do.

Has anyone successfully imported from the CF Express card to iPad Files and then subsequently worked on the files? What are the steps?

You can only use WiFi to transfer to Phocus mobile. I spoke to Hasselblad support because I wanted to add metadata...eg gps location. They don't allow importing from files to prevent users of other systems from using Phocus.
You can of course use Phocus on your computer and that will take images off the card.

I never tried, but maybe you could copy and image off the iPad back to the camera than use WiFi to import it to Phocus mobile.

I had already written to Hasselblad about this and hope that they will implement it.

Thanks for the clarification. I should have known; never is it easy when it comes to post edits with HB...

Just trying to take only the iPad without the laptop, so it seems it'll be import from camera to Phocus Mobile, cull, minor edits and export to a folder in Files TIFF with HNCS, import into Lightroom Mobile album, finalize edits, then export JPG to folder, copy all files to laptop then apply gps coordinate tags; hope all exif data remain intact throughout all this...
