Finally made the jump

My X2D arrived Friday. I must say it's a big jump from the first-generation X1D. I think the UI/software stack is even more intuitive than the original and I really like the improved EVF (although it's still pretty grainy in low light). I've never really used autofocus (the X1D was the first camera I've owned that had it), but the phase detect might persuade me to change my mind about that, at east some of the time. First shot, autofocus, just a straight JPEG conversion in Phocus (no editing except automatic lens corrections). In homage to mgrayson, may I present Theo the wonder pup, shot at 1/60th with the 120 macro handheld (autofocus on the eye):
