Do you get the error code/crash when shooting un-tethered or just tethered?

Also thinking about this I think the sync issue and the euro are two unrelated issues.

Make sure the viewfinders properly seated, and that the contacts between it and the body are clean/undamaged. Also try using the PC socket on the side of the body to see if you can replicate the sync issue.

I haven't tried yet to shoot fast without tethering.

Im going to clean the contacts and try with another viewfinder I have from an H4D to discard that. By the way, I don't understand the second part, try to use the PC? What is that?

Sorry for being vague. I was referring to the PC socket on the side of the camera and using a wired sync cable to rule out the hotshoe.

I found your error, its an old one, one which should have been fixed with Firmware updates.  In any case see these two reports from Hasselblad:
http://static.hasselblad.com/2014/11/Read-me_CB130308.pdf
http://static.hasselblad.com/2014/11/Read_me_-2_3_3_H4X.pdf

And follow Hasselblad Corrective Proceedures http://www.hasselblad.com/support/repairs/corrective-procedures.

This is a well know error it seems, so visit your nearest repair centre if all fails.
As for your answers above, everything checks out, that said, ElCapitan & Phocus 3 , both had some minor issues at start, which should, or will be ironed out soon.

We are anxious to know how it is going, as others maybe going through the same thing, so please share your findings, and let us know how everything is progressing.

Stay well,
Cheers,

Thank you Hassilistic. I was watching the PDFs and I found that the firmware changes the error ID 121:X "restart back" to "restart camera". It means that the error it's still there but they just change the 'name' of the error, or am I wrong?. Second, I think if these error were solved with the newest firmwares it should be appearing in an H5D with latest firmware. Nonetheless Im going to follow the proceeders and let you all know it's working this. I also wrote to Hasselblad tech support informing my problem so Im waiting for their answer.

The problem is that I live in Chile and I have an official dealer here but I don't trust on him. I don't want to be misunderstood but here in Chile things sometimes doesn't work like in the US or Europe so all my chances right now are to make this camera work with all your help and Hasselblads before I have to send the camera to the US.

Hi everyone,

Im sorry I didn't posted for a while but I left the camera for a month and now I've been using it and testing it as well. I've been in contact with Hasselblad and they are monitoring every time I use the camera to know what happens each time. It's funny because I made a fashion editorial weeks ago and the camera worked just fine, even when I shoot like 400 photos, I just got the 121 error twice, which is very good with the experience that I had. Then I had this advertising assignment this week and the error showed up 5-6 times which wasn't that good because it cut the workflow with the models. They have made me a lot of questions, even if I shoot handheld or use tripod to see if maybe I do some movements that can make the camera doesn't work fine. Anyway, here's a funny fact from today:

SYNCING: I've told you guys that the camera sometimes doesn't sync that well after some time using it. I thought this could be because the camera gets warm and (i don't know why), it stops syncing with the flashes. The funny thing is that today i had to shoot some product photography so I connected the camera to a FireWire plug (I didn't use the adapter to Thunderbolt), and the camera didn't synced at all. I was using 1/250 so I changed it to 1/500 and then tested at 1/800 and... IT WORKED JUST FINE. Why? I have no idea, maybe you can tell me.

The bad thing is that after this assignment I tested the camera firing shot after shot so I can se at what point the error was going to show and it did. The good thing is that I recorded this so if you like, you can download the video here: https://we.tl/Ltc1h6caG9

Tell me what you think.

Hi Nainmaslun,

Sorry to hear your camera issue still pending repair, I watched the video twice and can't see why it keeps happening.  When I got my camera new, it had several bugs that I didn't care to remember, just simply restarted everytime and kept going, but all of these went away as soon as I installed the firmware updates, and never again, the camera just works flawlessly now (knock on wood).

That said, I am still on Yosemite OS, and using Phocus 2.9., I also never pressed my camera to shoot that hard, usually not more than 5 shots in a row.  Then again, I don't shoot fashion, so its not the same. ;)

Good luck,
