How to make a secure connection between a H4D-50 and an i-pad?

I use a H4D-50. Is it possible to get a secure connection between the camera and an i-phone or i-pad using the Phocus app? This would allow me to view images on an i-pad without wi-fi when using it with a technical camera. Has anyone tried this without wi-fi and got it to work?

I received the following reply from Hasselblad. For cameras without Wifi you can only make a Wifi connection between the app on an iPad and a computer running Phocus. The Wifi in the new cameras eliminates the need to carry a laptop on location. You can also see Live View on the app and zoom in to check focus. Live view on the app and camera rear screen is possible as new cameras have CMOS sensors.
