H3D + film back + HCD

Hi,
i would like to make sure that a H3D version I with a film back would work with a 28 mm HCD and HTS

It will not work with the HCD 28 alone for sure. I do not think it would work with the 28+HTS, although it should since the image circle is then large enough.

Amusingly, the HCD 28 now works on the H1/H2 (and film back) with the new firmware published last month. This being said, the HCD 28, although a great lens on a digital back, is not a good choice with a film back. Its distortion is atrocious, even with the HTS.

On a digital back, Phocus corrects the distortion perfectly.

Thanks for the info, i got my H2 updated. Works now with HCD 28 and HTS.
True about software lens correction, especially distortion... But can be corrected manually
