Flexcolor can't see 3f files

Hi,
I have a batch of 3f files that were scanned on a Hasselblad x5 as 3f files using Flexcolor 4.8.8
I took these files home to open on my Pc using Flexcolor 4.8.6 (latest pc ver) however flexcolor doesn't see any files in either the thumbnails or import window, basically I can't open the 3f files in Flexcolor.
Photoshop will open the files as Tiff's as long as the flexcolor plugin is not installed.
I then took the files back to the mac and it sees and opens the 3f files in flexcolor!
Any ideas why Flexcolor on Pc cant read the files, is it beacause they were scanned on a mac?
I installed flexcolor on 2 pc's (windows 7 & xp) and both have the same issue.
