It looks pretty smart on saving our FW ports of the straight impact.

So far, I have been using duct tape to keep the cable in place. The tetherlock looks much nicer, though. I wonder what your experiences are? Cheers, Francois

The TetherLock works as claimed and does a fine job removing stress off the connector. It is well made.

Downside is for anyone using the L bracket from Really Right Stuff or Kirk, as the TetherLock would have to switch from one side of the bracket to the other if using a quick release base and switch frequently from horizontal to vertical.

Just got it a few days ago. Will test today.

It looks smaller than I thought. Well built and finished.
