Imagebank Batteries NP-Fxxx seem to die MUCH faster after latest firmware update

Original Image Bank with iXpress 132C, H2 Upgrade, the NP-FXXX (especially the 550's) batteries last about 25% of the time they did before I sent the back only to Denmark for a sensor cleaning/ IR filter removal and a firmware upgrade.
Does anyone have a clue about this and how to rectify? I wonder if the fans run faster or the back processes faster or the batteries need a reboot or
?
Thanks,

Hey Wick
I VERY much doubt that the firmware update would have anything to do with this... I don't think it's possible to reset those batteries as they are not chipped. You could try a new battery (doesn't have to be a Sony as there are plenty of cheaper generics out there).
