imacon 132c.... ASAPlease!

hi, i just acquired a ixpress 132c and , when untethered the red light always comes on..... when connected through my mac it works fine.... i can find the solution.. what seems to be the problem???  i've tried different batteries, new batteries , no luck... please, some help....

At a guess I'd say you are pressing and holding the power button which tells the system to expect a firmware update. Try a short press to turn it on.
