firewire cable

My original firewire cable has failed after years of good service, I am trying to find one that will
fit the 39ms back, all ones to date have had a sleeve to large to fit and some are so
stiff that they exert a lot of leverage on the camera.
Any brand names anybody could recommend, I am in the UK

Try Calumet in the UK. If you do have to buy one that is too fat to go in, carefully trim the plug with a sharp knife, at least then it is a tight fit.

I m very happy with the Lacie orange flat firewire cable and the Lindy cable. The lacie is extremely light and flexible. The only negative thing is that it is only 1,5 meter long. Thats were the Lindy FW cable with repeater comes in.
