Lee filters

Hello again..

Forgot to ask if anyone had experience using the Lee 100mm filter system with either the 28mm or 35-90mm lenses?

As Lee does not offer a wide angle option for the ring adapters i was curious if vignetting was a problem?

I have all 3 (Lee System, 28mm & 35-90). I will try this weekend to make some blue sky shots for you to see if this is a problem. I don't particularly recall it to be one but I will try to specifically test it (depending on the time I have available and such).

With the 28mm there is slight vignetting if you have the 100mm push on at an angle. With the other lenses Phocus lakes care of any vignetting and the 100mm filter ring presents no problem. Most of my work is done with this set up.

I use a 95mm UV filter most of the time, no vignetting except for the 28mm @ a 45 degree angle.

H2F and CF39. I see Derek already chimes in as well. He is using a similar kind of setup (eg. 37mmx49mm sensor).

Almost all of my photographs are made with a Lee filter on the front, either a grad or full ND, or something else.
