Possibly a graphics card deficientcy. Have you installed Direct X? (You probably have but it makes sense to ask).
Please let us know more about your machine.

Hello and Thanks

Yes, just about everything is installed. Smiley
This is just my travelmachine but everything else works.
I had to download the software (hasselblad) since the only material I got with the camera was for Mac.

EeePC
CPU N270 1.60GHz ,1 GB RAM
Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family

Obviuosly underpowered but I cant see why the viewer should turn black: all other forms and formats are shown and processed in PS and Phocus etc.
I just wondered if this was a problem encountered before by someone else or if anybody has a clue.

Im travelling right now and would just like to be able to adjust some if possible.

I don't think you have the graphic processing power to run Phocus...sorry. My Dell d420 with much higher specs than your eepc won't run Phocus either with the same black viewer. A more powerful graphic card will solve the problem.

OK
Phocus runs, but you might be right. Smiley

Thanks a lot
